US Wii: Preorder Details Thread

Got my US Wii sorted at last along with classic controller, 2gb Sandisk SD card, 2000pts, and just Zelda and Excite Trucks.
Does anyone know the best place to order a Mad Catz component lead from? This has now gone from an "I can't be arsed, really" item into a definative must-have item after sampling F-Zero and Prime II in glorious 480p. Anyone not buying a Wii due to lack of 780p is a complete ****ing knob-head, and that's not opinion, it's FACT!! 480p looks more than superb.
I'll do RGB to Component comparisons tonight and take pictures.
I really can't tell the difference between 480p and 780p - they both look **** compared to VGA anyway.

780p, 720p - whatever, I don't agree with DavidFallows' phrasing but I must confess that even as an HDTV maniac I'm not too upset about it being left out of the Wii.
Look at the quality of the lighting and overall artwork in Zelda. I'll take better visual direction over more scanlines any day.

Getting it sorted from a friend over there who already has two pre-ordered which is why I didn't go silly with the games as I originally wanted 3-4 other games.
I'll even take pictures of 1080p. There isn't much of a difference on my display. VGA owns all, and always has done IMO unless we're talking RGB on a SD set.

It's like me boycotting it for not doing VGA at 1280x720... which pisses all over any kind of 480p, 780p, or 1080p nonsense... a component signal blown up to 180" is very nasty.
Anyway, I'm fine with it doing 480p ;P
