Just stating you have X amount of component leads on the way is going to get you a bundle of PM's/buyers, then what happens if they don't arrive ? hence the above rule.

You did afterwards yes. Just that we've seen things like this happen many times before, and go tits up, hence the age old rule of not advertising them (directly or not) if you don't yet have them.

I was extremely lucky. I rang up gamestation on friday morning and they had mad-catz cables in stock so I ran down and got one.

None of my pre-orders for the cables every came through, so I'm probably just going to cancel them all now as these cables seem to do the job just fine.

I have 2 component cables on their way from a good friend in Hong Kong as well as an Otaku.com order. I'm not going to touch Zelda until I have one hooked up. Rayman & Wii Sports are keeping the family entertained until then.

Prepare to be shocked how **** rayman looks via component - it's not even proper widescreen! Good job it's a decent game really, otherwise it would be unforgiveable...

Wii Component Cable - ?6.34 delivered

On preorder ready for 15th Dec release, a third party component cable from:

DVDBoxoffice.

It says ?7.29 delivered, but when you checkout, tick the box to be billed in US Dollars instead of Canadian Dollars. With the weak US$ at the moment US$13 works out at about ?6.34.

It has got EDTV on the back of the box, but I don't believe it is..... My TV says 480p when playing it, but not convinced it's telling the truth and in fact it leaves a border left and right of the screen, so it's not widescreen at least - and because my TV assumes 480p means widescreen, it won't let me stretch it either!

Monkey Ball has the same problem with the small boarders, and it only happens in Component 480p.
