Yeah you can take photos of anything in game during a replay and save images up to 1280x960 to a memory card, USB stick or print them with a USB printer!

I've spent a silly amount of hours using GT4's photo mode.

I tried downloading this 3 times on my Jap PS3 and it doesn't work. Says something like this game is not supported, anyone else had this? I signed up to the UK and US servers so far, but not the Japanese one...

I mean I downloaded RR7 and Blast Factor (demo's) and they both work fine and GT HD concept 2.0 has graphics and music on the PS3 menu, but when I try to play it I get the error message... Seems rather strange, I hope I'm missing something simple and will be able to get it working without re-downloading it...

It wont work along with tekken if you are trying to play it on a SD set, i downloaded both, tried them on a old CRT and got error messages went back to HD and they work fine , its a issue with NTSC Sd being 480i and Pal SD being 576i i believe.

Oh, so it and Tekken: DR will work on an HDTV then? Interesting... I was thinking of DLing Tekken 'til I saw a post saying it didn't work on a Jap PS3... What about the other games you can buy in the UK store? I could buy off the UK store with my debit card, but not on the US one, or the Jap one I presume...

Downloaded this last night. I'm not that big on GT games but I enjoyed playing this. Obviously it's not going to keep your attention for that long, I've hardly played GT in the past but I unlocked every car first try. I also didn't think that much of the graphics, but that has already been explained. Other than that, it was exactly as I expected.

You're right about the graphics really but try and remember that this is a VERY early demo made with the PS2 game engine. I think we all know that 12 to 18 months down the line when the optimised final release is out, it will look like nothing else out there!

At least we will be getting free updates as progress is made. Kazunori Yamauchi has said that he is working on a full damage model (finally) for the game...he's convinced that when people try it they will get so fed up of having to pull out of a race each time you knock into another car at 20mph that they will end up switching it off anyway lol. He may be right but it will be nice to have the choice though.

Is it true that the US has just had an update to version 1.2? That seems strange as the European console had version 2.0 on release???

Well I was having a nosey on the US shop just and saw version 1.2, but the manual for my GT HD - which I downloaded yesterday - says 1.16. You sure theres a 2.0?

Apart from that - I really enjoy it, and its probably the game I've played most on my PS3 so far. I've yet to pay for anything like fl0w or Tekken though. As a taster, it really does give you the feeling that a full version of GT will be gobsmaking. I love the people just milling around the trackside!

Definately!!! It's very clearly pointed out in the Europe shop as GD-HD 2.0

I'm not sure why everybody else has just had an update to a version less than that though!!

How do you tell which version you have? Is it just via the bottom left in manual? I have all the logitech stuff featured in that news report, but mine definitely says 1.16. Odd!

In the store it's listed as GT HD Concept 2.0.

The update for 1.16 update added the Logitech support also. Maybe V2.0 has just had support for PAL TVs added or something? the weird thing is that toy would have had the 1.6 update AFTER we had the 2.0 version???
