Number45, I don't think this game is reliant on user content. I'm expecting an excellent single player experience. If the levels it comes with aren't very good, for whatever reason, then the user content won't be any good. The controls need to be tight, the levels representative of what a good designer can do at home given enough time. I personally see the ability to create content as a key feature, in fact the main draw for me, but the single player is really even more important.

If you want one yourself there are 100 of them out there or you could wait for somebody else to find one and sell it on eBay. I think they are just for SCEA territories at the moment though.

In the bag with issue 24 of OPM will be a card containing a unique code to snag the specially made-up Sackboy - one of two limited edition Sackboys.

I will be getting a PS3 basically just for this as well. Of course, I will pick some others up but this is the one making me buy one. Can finally get into blu ray then as well.

Well I'm looking at getting a new 360 just for Gears 2, but that will be like half the price.

I can assure you there are plenty of great PSN titles that easily rival what XLBA has to offer - as my gaming time gets more limited, I've turned to PSN and enjoyed some titles more than retail. PJMonsters, PJEden, Everyday Shooter - you'll have lots of fun

I've been buying OPM for the last few issues anyway, so that's a bonus (Not a plushie though. ). Might as well order it from Play and get the set.

i think the character is a downloadable skin not an actual plush toy..could be wrong tho

It's not a plush, it's an ingame character. I'd wait before ordering, I'm expecting a SackBoy plush Collector's Edition.

Yeah, sorry my post was a little misleading. I meant that if you pick up OPM and pre-order from Play, you have both of the pre-order bonus characters. Better than for the US, where I think Kratos/Nariko are pre-order bonus characters at different shops?

Hopefully there will be some LE action though, as you say. Any kind of Sackboy figure and I'm sure it'll sell like hotcakes.

Who cares about costumes for in game characters. The whole point is be be creative and make your own, not have everyone running about using the same stuff! Duh!!

But a real life one would be awesome!
