I'll go through the menus but I'm not sure exactly how much of it is new:
Some things are greyed out as I haven't haven't done things like linking a PS3 controller to it.
I'll italicise what's shown as standard & it should give enough info as to what is hidden. I don't think I've organised this particularly well but hopefully it does what it needs to.
SWITCH DISCS (says it will only work if the game has instructed you to change discs)

(probably more useful for games like Command & Conquer which have two discs with a different campaign on each one)
This was bought up in the PSP Go thread as I was downloading the really badly bordered PAL Final Fantasy VII to see how the new Custom Screen option would work in a game like this.
You can basically do what ever you want with it, I've got it running without the top/bottom borders in 4x3 ratio but it's easy enough to stretch it across to 16x9 ratio if you'd rather eliminate the left/right borders and don't mind a bit distortion by stretching the image.
It's worth bearing in mind that I'm mot sure if the PSP screen renders at 50Hz or 60Hz. If it's 50Hz then there will still be an advantage with the NTSC games due to the higher refresh rate. It's not something that's noticeable in a game like Final Fantasy VII though.
