Latest PS3 Firmware Updates

A work colleague recently got a big PS3 and didn't realise the iPlayer was on it because it doesn't appear on their dash and that was pre-3.10 update.

I've just updated mine to 3.10 and the iPlayer was there without having to reboot the console (PAL).

Where's the Facebook app, I can only find the settings for it?

There should be and I've read you have to activate it in Account Management, but when I go there all I get are the Facebook options for Share Trophy Information, Share Purchase Information and Share Game Event Information. All are already set to off.

AYe agreed, where do you even put in your facebook login details, its daft...well i say daft...just frustrating....anyway screw it, my friends must never know of my gaming addictions

is everyone on wireless who is saying its taking forever? I've never had a problem downloading or installing firmware updates, its always been fast pretty much.

I updated mine about 10am wirelessly and I think it took about 5 minutes.

I find the PSN is usually fairly nippy for me but Thursday evenings it does slow down due to the extra traffic, other days are fine though.

You ain't getting me on no PSN sucker!!!

I probably should explain that the link above takes you to a direct download to v3.10 firmware on the official PlayStation site rather than it being me getting aggressive due to the download speeds others are suffering with.

mine took forever to do last night, I went to bed and left it running cuz it had done 10% in about half an hour.. normally is done in minutes
