Theres lots of other people with this problem, see the big 360 Issues thread for more detail on the buggiest console ever. I had that too btw, the only good thing was that MS were quick to turnaround the replacement, which todate has been fine, apart from numeous crashes which are part and parcel of gamesplaying on the 360.

Dont hold your breath, If its done it once then its most probable that its gonna do it again and not recover, get on the phone to microsoft and get it replaced, it beats playing the waiting game!

I had my first dash freeze today and it happened after watching a trailer, then pressing B to go back to the dash. My console was manufactured 2006-01-03.

Hi all. Posted about my xbox problems before, but now it's serious. 3 red lights when I turn the box on. I'm thinking thats a big problem. Anyone with the number to ring up and blast microsoft on???

I`'m playing my 360 horizontal(3rd console) and i think it is starting to occassionally put fine scratches on the disc. This is my 3RD xbox 360 CONSOLE!!!

They dont seem to affect gameplay though. Anyone else experiencing this?

I really do think it is a design fault, as this is the second machine to do this.

The original XBox had this problem too. Must be the drives they use. It shouldn't affect the game though. Not much consolation I'm sure.

Fecking useless. Rang last week and told they would replace/repair my console. Told to wait until an address label came to return it with.
No sign so rang back today and told they have no record of such discussion DESPITE the fact i've got a return number.
Bah.Makes me mad like

Finally got the return label on sat. Over a week since it should have been "sent". Will ring to pick up ASAP but as it 5-10 days repair we're looking at nearly a month since intial enquiry.
Will be rining billing today (On the same number) to suspend my live account. Best thing otherwise MS are getting money for nowt.

I've heard if you do a bit of complaining you can bag yourself some games/controllers some even got bumped from a core to a premium.
