Everytime I start Outland I can't help but think how great the graphics are.. Just wonderful and a nice little game too.

have rebought Bioshock as I beat it in one session on release day way back when...wanted to see how well it holds up (plus get the rest of the achievements )

started playing this morning and am nearly at the end again. once you start its almost impossible to turn it off!
has me rehyped for infinite!

As I recently finished binary domain, I got a hankering for more over the shoulder type shooters. I was umming and arring on vanquish, but settled on resident evil 5 gold, in preparation for the 6th games imminent release. I actually played RE 5 when it first came out but gave up about what I thought was half way, after now rinsing the gold version of RE 5, I realised I was only a chapter away from the end of the game lol... The Game was better than I thought, but still too much of a radical departure from the rest if the series to fully get my two thumbs up, what really impressed me was the DLC lost in nightmares... Brought back so many memories and feelings, in fact i was creeped out in a couple of parts, it actually got me feeling that the current play mechanics does infact work with the old type setting. Anyways now that RE 5 is done, ima move onto...transformers war for cybertron still got a need to shoot more stuff lol...

This is a very well done HD remaster, it looks brilliant. I remember the game being absolutely first class and based on the opening sections, it still is :thumbs:

Been showing my new 3ds XL some love. Got the remaining few gold coins and 100% gold flags in Mario Land 3D.

That's on my list to play. Finished Gatling Gears & started TinTin on local co-op.
Really need to get back to Skyrim/Fallout New Vegas DLC but seem to spending most of my weekday evenings playing either Syndicate (360) or Terraria (PC)

Been playing Onepiece kaizoku musou all afternoon, a lot of fun. The main story goes back through most of the main arcs of the anime as they recount their adventures as Luffy met them one by one. The shading has this strange cross hatching giving it a look of manga thats come to life, it's a pretty cool effect. Glad they used the original anime voice actors for all the voices in the game.

Played through Arkham City again after picking it up in the Steam sale along with the DLC. Enjoyed it more this time but that could well be down to my recent Batman mood due to all the hype for the new film

Ys: The Oath In Felghana (PC) - my first Ys title, it's ok, very frantic but i'm not sure if it has gripped me yet
Alex Kidd In Miracle World (PSN) - Lovely port all things considered, scanline option is a godsend

I bought that recently too How far into the game are you? I have gotten stuck at a boss fight which is such a close battle and I just can't quite do enough to finish him off. So frustrating!
It's my first Ys title too and am quite enjoying it so far but it does seem that very often the way to get past a certain section is simply to level grind which is a bit of a chore.

Only just in the second dungeon! The boss at the end of the 1st dungeon took a few goes. I have a mate who is massively into the series and he basically said the same thing as you - that sometimes you have no option but to grind a bit to get past a certain section or tough boss

Playing lots of Syndicate Multi-Player during the week. Friday's is my Skyrim day now after coming back to it after three months.
