i don't know what i did expect but i am not impressed at all by the trailer...

looks like a proper sequel to Modern Warfare though and in this respect it will surely deliver more of the same - which isn't too bad after all, especially considering the limited dev-time of the game....

It'll of been 2 years almost exactly since cod 4. 2 years with the same tech seems alright to me. How quickly was Graw 2 churned out after the first and Rainbow 6 vegas?

Plus they had the engine to start with this time (The trailer looked nicer than CoD4 to me so they may, and most likely, have enhanced it however)

I would say that the retailers will still ship it at normal price, but I guess this means that Activision will be charging them more? Not too concerned myself, I tend not to play CoD online so waiting won't be a problem.

You can pre-order this for £45 on Play.com. Not only is COD4 still selling at £40 but Activision know this will be popular and will sell great, but they are still trying to get every last penny out of it's fan base.

I thought we had moved past £50 games after the first year of the 360.

I'm not going to bother pre-ordering unless I see it somewhere super cheap. It's always seemed daft to me pre-ordering games like this unless you get something for th effort. It's like GTA's, everyone goes mad switching preorders round for months and then release day hits and it'll be ten a penny in the stores for ?39.99 max.

RRP means nowt nowadays. Someone will have it ?30 or below on release. Look at waw last year, Asda done it for ?25 on day of release.

As much as I enjoyed CoD4, and its recent trade-in value, I'm not paying over £40 to get MW2.
