400 cars will do just fine.

People from that neogaf link say they've had a hands on with it and it will be running at 60fps more than likely.

One thing that i'm not sure if anyone's recognised is that from the trailer's we've been shown, it only looks like there's still only 8 cars. If so, it's a shame as in motorsport a packed grid is much more exciting and you never see only 8 cars racing in real life (in terms of big motorsport events).

Looks good. I'm not so sure about the rewind system like what GRID had, but I suppose it does make it more acessible for amateurs. Like El Leone, I also like the preview of the track whilst waiting, very Gran Turismo 5 types of polish.

I'm re-buying Forza 2 whilst I wait.

In Forza 2 I enjoyed the BHP cup series. Ya' know where the limit of you car had to be under 200 BHP. Then in the next cup they uped it to 300, 400 etc.

It's gonna be interesting to see what cups they have in this one now Les Mans looks like being it in.

I want a boy racer chav cup! Where you buy cars and chav them up like a ZR, Corsa, Saxo or Fiesta and thrash them round some local Mcdonalds car park.

Isn't that just D class racing? I used to use proper chav mobiles for that!

some of the series are really great fun. but the overall layout of the career mode leaves to be desired as later series/races (level 20+) tend to just bore and frustrate. not a game for completionists! i hope this will change for the better in Forza 3.

Forza 3 will cost you $60. But the Forza 3 Limited Edition will cost you $80.

Those parting with the extra cash will receive:

- a 2GB USB drive and a keychain, both "specially branded" (ie they've got the Forza logo on them)

- "Forza Motorsport VIP Membership", which will "entitle gamers to special treatment at the game's auction house, community storefront, and on the game's official forums."

- 5 cars, "available only through your VIP membership"

- "Exclusive Collector's Edition Car Pack", which is five cars that have been "hand tuned and hand painted by the developers at Turn 10"

- A Forza 3 dashboard theme.

The exact release date for the game in North America is October 27. No idea yet for Europe, but for Aussies and Kiwis, good news! It'll be out a little earlier, on October 23.

Personaly, I wont be getting the LE version. Not enough stuff in it as well as too many other games coming out at the same time, so I need to save every penny where possible.

I got the ltd edition last time, and it was a bit of a waste of time to be honest. Regular version for me this time round. I am interested to know what perks the VIP membership thing gives you though.

It's the price diffrence between Forza 2 SE & LE, no diffrence.

like said before, Forza2 LE wasn't anything special, it didn't bring anything interesting over the normal version,
this one looks better though and I know myself, I will buy this LE edition for sure...

best news for me is it has now been confirmed for a 23 okt release for Europe !!

The hand painted cars don't look anything special to me and I highly doubt the 5 exclusive cars will be woth the extra cash.
