I've finally had a chance to try out my Hori Real Arcade Pro EX SE for the 360. Very very good piece of kit. Feels solid and the stick and buttons are spot on for shooters. I like the button layout which keeps them reasonably close together. The stick has a well oiled mechanical feel and is very responsive with only a short amount of travel required before you get a response.
I was surprised at how large the HRAP is, it's considerably larger than my other Hori sticks in all dimensions. The heavy base keeps things in check during a frantic dodging session.
I need to find adaptors to use this bad boy with all of my other systems now!

I seem to have some kind of stick fetish as I have a TE but I really want a HRAP EX SE for some reason.

It's a shame the stock HRAP EX-SE doesn't have a common ground PCB or you could install an MC Cthulhu and it'd work on basically everything - just like my TE. I sold my EX-SE though because I didn't like the shape or bulk. Got an LS-32-01 (same as you have) in my TE now though. JLF feel naff now. Not a fan of the Seimitsu in the EX-SE though, as I play fighters..

Might as well update my TE progress.. Done now basically. Ha.

eBay of all places. I was looking for parts to mod my Hori stick and while searching for an LS-32 I came across one for sale in the UK. It is brand new and I was the sole bidder on the auction. I know ?80 is steep for a controller but compared to buying a new LS-32 and a pile of buttons I though that was ok.

Unfortunately not. The tracking info showed it as being loaded onto the van for delivery on the 23rd then the same again on the 24th! Hopefully it will be here tomorrow.

No way.. I saw that and was planning to bid but I missed the end of the auction!!

£80 for an EX-SE is a good shout IMO - would happily pay that price for one myself. That being said, I've kitted out a Madcatz SE with full Seimitsu gear, so probably shouldn't.

Finally got around to buying some Sanwa bits to go in my MadCatz SE.

And only then because I broke the damn A and X buttons playing the Scott Pilgrim game (too much mashing, they couldn't take it...)
