Plus, it keeps the handheld from having any unique reasons to buy which it is in need of. I get why publishers can't put both versions in one box for ?40 but it's a shame.
As long as its not sub native res, and runs at a decent framerate, a herd of wild boar couldnt stop me from picking up mgs on vita.

It could really be a showpiece for the system.

I'm hoping that E3 gives us official announcements / footage of Vita versions of Killzone, Ratchet & Clank, maybe a new Uncharted, PES and God of War.

      Happy. Bunny!!

Why all this love for MGS collection on Vita? It's not even complete! Wouldn't mind if it was priced at under the PS3's RRP, but if anything it'll cost more!

For me if they started releasing double versions ps3/vita kinda like motorstorm id be happy to pay more to have the ability to play them cross platform, just not double the price!!!

As long as the portable version plays good enough id be happy, portable version just needs to play nice, they dont have to look exactly the same!

Yes, this is an ongoing problem with the handheld Lego games and I find it fairly disgraceful that it carried across to the Vita too. The early PSP Lego games were exactly like the big console versions and then it was switched that they were basically the DS versions. That has carried across to the 3DS and now the Vita. They are the DS versions. And there's really only one reason for it which is that they're splitting the big console versions and the handhelds across two different studios. If the Wii can do the big console versions, so can the Vita and that's what we should be getting (and really the 3DS should too).

It's all a bit pox. I love the Lego games but I'm not interested in Lego Batman 2 is it's just a shiny version of the DS game.

Its ?23 at Shop to, which I think is a decent price. I dont have MGS HD on home console so I pre ordered the Vita version

So this is 2 & 3 yes? Any reviews up for the Vita version yet?

The rest of the resistance reviews are coming in at some are as low a 2 out of 10, ign 5.5, a bit gutted i really wanted it to be good. but ill probally leave it as its expensive, a shame as resistance was a good franchise.

Ouch. That's a real shame. I would really have liked this to be great.

A pity the game only features 6 levels. I would require a playable demo consisting of at least 1 level before I decide whether or not to purchase before it reaches a sub ?10 price tag.

I enjoyed Retribution too, was it the same team that made that? Would be very surprised and disappointed if so.

Was Retribution the PSP one? It seemed good but I thought it was crippled by the PSP controls and couldn't get on with it. Eventually just put it down. One reason I was quite looking forward to this one - similar game without the control issues.

I played Retribution using a Dual Shock via the utterly ridiculously complicated plug-your-psp-into-your-ps3 to become infected shenanigans. Great game!

Well i already own peacewalker on psp, so the fact its only 2+3(only lol) makes no odds to me.

They are 2 fantastic games, one of which a masterpiece, coming for a portable device in dire need of quality software...for me thats where the love comes from. I'll play them more on vita too.

Retribution was a great game. If you download it on the vita you can play it with both sticks and it's fantastic. It was only 6.99 the other day too, don't know if it's still that price.

I was really looking forward to burning skies.. Pretty depressing news if its not very good... There's not much else on the vita any time soon.

That Destructoid review seems way harsh!

I'm still going to buy it because:

                                A) It's a new Vita game.
                                B) I'm paying for it with store credit so it's not really costing me anything.

6 "chapters" at about 6 hours total. Resistance 3 didn't take much longer than that and I prefer shorter, linear games that I can finish and move on from. Not really one for rinsing Trophies, me.

Anyway, if it's truly ****balls I can trade it for Gravity Rush.
