I'm sure the likes of us on here will love the Vita for it's looks and having the likes of Uncharted etc on the move but to todays wider audiences the Vita doesn't have any usp to it at all. For 5-6 years now it's been made abundantly clear that a graphical advantage gives zero sales advantage, touch screens are so common place they wouldn't sell anything these days and it's going to be too big for some. Bottom line is that regardless of individual preference on here between the two systems 3DS has the lower price point, the reputation (if something like the 3DS's bungled launch was enough to kill their handheld Sony would be shut down after the PSN debacle) and the stronger worldwide appealing franchises. Take the 3D away and you do just have a less powerful standard handheld, but then that's not stopped every single handheld generation being won on exactly the same grounds. Hell, the Vita should flop entirely due to iphones and tablets... or have we moved on from that one

So long as the Vita is popular enough for Aksys, Atlus, NIS, Xseed, Ghostlight etc. to make money localising Japanese games, I don't really care too much.

The popularity of the Wii and DS actually ended up reducing how many niche titles we got, towards the end of the consoles lives.

I reckon only the 3G version has build-in GPS. Any idea how it will work in the UK, do we have to buy bandwidth packages from a specific carrier? As I understand sony has appointed specific carriers in the US and Japan.

I've sold on all of my Sony consoles due to hating the playstation controller... Honestly, cannot stand the thing, so, if... IF i could actually use the Vita that would be a dream come true! Yay

If you have a PS3 at home and switched on you can tap into it with the Vita and play your games remotely. It will come with tons of lag I'm guessing as your button inputs are sent to your console then the video signal is beamed back. Think of playing via satellite.

Plus the Vita lacks all the necessary buttons to play PS3 games correctly so would use the touch screen instead of L2 & 3 and R2 & 3. Pointless function tacked on to try and distract people from Wii U, PS 3 can barely run the net browser consistantly so given it wasn't built to stream game data it's not a function I expect will be very good or used much
