How do you know there were only 150 Daragon? I was hoping there'd be a few thousand at least, if I missed out would I get nothing? Hopefully if I've missed out I can pull the plug before they charge me...

So many shops must be taking a hit on the 3DS consoles now. Wonder how big the margins on the software are.

My newfound worry: that I'm going to spend too much time fiddling with the telecopic stylus playing slower games. I already have to keep stopping myself from chewing on the end of DS ones.

Just going off what was written in the magazine, they have 150 copies to give away and the offer is only good for a month.

By hit you mean less profit right? Because none of them will actually be making no profit, just less profit than they'd rather..

What do you reckon 150 wholesale? they have got to be still making a profit even at 187. You would imagine that preorders for this have been jumping about a fair bit or why else would they all be keeping up with each other. Slightly worried despite having a preorder with amazon from day one as they will be flooded with preorders now. its bringing it down to more impulses purchase type territory compared with the 250 it started at.

Why are you worried if you've had a pre-order for some time? Amazon are known to ship via each pre-orders date so you'll get one no problem. I'm more inclined to think that there'll be plenty of units available on launch but they'll slowly become more scarce as word of mouth grabs. I think word of mouth will be what really pushes the 3ds.

I think I remember reading somewhere that the unit itself costs £173 but I wouldn't be surprised if it was less.

I currently have 3DS + RR for 204ish. The Amazon site says I can still add the free screen protector to my order, but how?!
