@strider
Your impressions of Ghost Recon seem to have changed a lot of peoples minds on launch games to buy, mine included. Somebody a while back in this topic said it was a ds game that had been moved over to 3ds dev does it look like that graphically? How tight are the controls? Does it offer online play or any streets features?

Multiplayer is turns only, but there's lots of missions to unlock. Due to the type of game it is it doesn't need good looking visuals. It does have a great sense of depth though, with the 3D really helping to show off the height of the terrain etc. Controls are wonderfully tight and there are lots of mechnics to unlock. The only slight downside is the bland setting and story. It terms of gameplay though it's ace.

Screenshots of Slime Mori Mori Dragon Quest 3/Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime 3.
If you don't want to look at the screenshots - know this.. looks like a DS/GBA game with 3D battle sequences. Naff.

Ghost Recon & Street Fighter for me then. Rebelstar & Laser Squad were my favourite games on the old Amstrad. Never got on with Xcom though as I they overcomplicated the formula.
Tried SFIV today in game. Looks lush and the 3d is more effective than i expected. Had some trouble pulling off supers but I guess that comes with practice.

Lol I don't think anybody would blame you if they did not like Ghost Recon, games are always a personal choice. What I was worried about was things like the length of the game, fluidity of the action and how well it controlled. If all of those are sound and I don't like it its my fault for choosing it.

N Gamer were quoting 40 odd hours. Don't forget the ability to replay levels as well (you'll get more points for building your characters by choosing higher difficulty settings).
Interestingly they did mention in their round-up that they saw it as a maybe by. ONM gave it 80% (although they also gave Pilotwings 81%).
