Agreed, once my two noticed Mario & Mario kart , the 3ds went to second on there xmas lists.

Hence two consoles, two mario's wrapped and two Karts on pre order.

Didn't Nintendo also say that the 3DS was launched WAY prior to when it was supposed to be (and that they were waiting for a better list of launch day titles).

This would fit in well, possibly 3D Land as a launch title, along with Steel Diver, Pilot Wings and all the others, with Mario Kart following up soon after.

If they really did push for MK to be launched pre-christmas, I wonder what they dropped or delayed (either content, or other title wise) to bring it forward.

Got my copy today along with my White 3DS & Mario 3D bundle (White console is )

Still at work but played the first grand prix at lunch.

Looks great, music is ace and the hang gliders are win!

This is "suffering" from the same issue as the Wii version - the tracks are too wide so it feels really slow.

Never felt that about Mario Kart Wii, there were plenty of pretty narrow tracks too. Did you already play through all the tracks?
