annoying voice over guy has now gone. theres 2 other blokes voicing over but they rarely comment -so its a bit eerie when they do.
it feels a bit more low-key than the first one, probably intentional given theres your avatars sat on a sofa.
my wife says she prefers the games in this one and the whole thing is less cluttered - its obviously been designed to a wider audience- but dont worry, still plenty of scope to show off film geekery!
the avatars are really well implemented tho.
new dash seems ok, but its still not as concise and logical as xmb.
has anyone turned the xbox on without being online? is it very empty or are the ads saved from previous visits?
i cant help but wonder if Apple eventually get round to making a home console just how slick and simple the interface would be. perhaps microsoft would have to then schedule another update to copy that too!

I just tried to play Bomberman to check out the avatar support. It installs an update, and then tells me I have to redownload the game to get the new avatar version.
A - redownload
B - return to Arcade
so I redownload it, launch the game, and it tells me I have to redownload the game to get the new avatar version.
A - redownload
B - return to Arcade
So I try deleting Bomberman entirely, redownloading it, launching the game, and it tells me I have to redownload the game to get the new avatar version.
A - redownload
B - return to Arcade
Nice.
