Is this new dashboard going to be rendered in 1080p for people who use that? Current dash looks really blurry compared to the crisp XMB.

I believe its becuase how the friends listing now. Now when you go in, you don't see a list of friends (unless you do it via the guide) but you instead see all your friends avatars.

From the vids I've seen, you can create a default one with a couple of button presses, taking less than thirty seconds. I'm sure it'll be the worst thirty seconds of your life.

I'm not happy about the friends list being in the Avatar format It feels like it's going to take ages just to get to someones name/profile.

You can get the friends list in the old list form by hitting the guide button which brings up the old dash (mini-dash?) and going to friends like you do atm.

Yeah bringing the guide up brings up an entire blade style system with everything in a similar format to how it currently is.
