Ok, so Edge have given Zombie U a 7, but they gave Skyward Sword a 10, which obviously should have been a 5. Therefore, converted to scores-for-people-with-brains, Zombie U gets a 2. Not looking good, people.

Did you fall on your head between that and SS? Otherwise I'm not sure how you can stand its constant hand holding (amongst myriad other problems).

Anyway, slightly back on topic - if SS is the type of game Nintendo have reduced themselves to now, I don't think even their top franchises could draw me into buying a Wii U, much less this third rate pap that's out for it now/soon.

WiiU now cancelled. Was on the edge but that's confirmed it. Looks like its going to be the console of ports and mediocre third party IP's - Kind of like the Vita be it with added commercial success.

This is just one review (ZombieU) so no one should jump to any conclusions based on that.
It is, also however, a launch title, for a Nintendo device, from Ubisoft.

You seriously cannot be comparing the Wii U to the Vita, bloody hell give it a chance. You really think Nintendo will support the Wii U the way Sony has with the Vita and basically cut it adrift after 6 months? Yes it does have some ports but how do you exactly define ports? Yes ME3 and Arkham City etc are but you cant include Assassins Creed 3 and COD:Blops2 (doesn't matter if you like COD or not) in that category as they have only just come out for Xbox/PS3 and are equal in quality.

Also i think people are seriously underestimating the potential quality of the Wii U. The fact that some of its launch games are of the exact quality of Xbox/PS3 games from day one, i dont think we will really see what its capable of until 2-3 years. Just compare launch titles of Xbox/PS3 to the games we have now. Fair enough that not everyone wants one and are willing to sit on the fence and wait but please have a bit of perspective.

Devs have stated that the gfx in WiiU are superior to ps3 and 360 and also it has more RAM. The cpu is inferior but the AI stuff in console games isn't really AI anyway, it's usually real simple stuff. The problem is always the RAM limit and the graphics. In theory WiiU should give better looking games than ps3 and 360 I should think.
