Here's my theory on the protagonist:

Middle class white guy/woman that has lost their job due to the recession is forced to commit fraud/start their own weed growing operation and their life spirals out of control a la Breaking Bad.

Do I like the sound of that! Jus hope there are more random vehicles littered around, can't be running forever to make it back to civilisation, when stranded in the wilderness. Odds are that, with the game being so expansive, the main story will be jus as mahoosive!

Well, maybe in this case, seeing what game this is, it would be appropriate to take a crowbar to the local store a night before the launch...

Bought GTAIII, Vice City, San Andreas and IV all on day one. Never finished any of them. I imagine I'll do the same here.

Might be the first game I go Day 1 on since San Andreas.

PS: Radio in GTAIV was awesummorz (Marc Moulin!), hope they go OCD on that and the TV shows in this one!

This sounds just so amazing it for me reads like the perfect GTA, im just trying to get my head around the map size being bigger than RDR, GTA 4 and San Andreas i mean jesus how is that possible, especially on current gen hardware. Just a small part of me wishs this was on next gen machines to achieve full potential.

Seeing gameplay footage will make or break my anticipation for me. It sounds like a techinical feat they've accomplished but if it plays like IV itll spoil itll for me.

Wonder what kind of collectors version they will have in store for this. I remember and still have the GTA 4 one that came in a metal lockbox with a holdall/bag which i thought was pretty smart actually and it didnt cost stupid money.

Surely it'll play play better than 4 based on the fact that games like Yakuza and Sleeping dogs have improved the genre?

Hopefully, they've mentioned driving is more like a racer than IV's wonky heavy handling model which should help
