Perfect justification for the ?25 price tag ..... Sometimes other people's logic fails me.

My point was, that loads of games can be called short if you rush through them and ignore everything besides the main goal to see the end credits. Personally, I'd rather pay for a short game of very high quality than a ****ty one that lasts 50 hours, but that's just me I guess. Besides, a Blu-Ray film costs ?20 and it offers even less "content" than this game will, it's all relative.

As David's post says, it sounds like the game will offer decent replay value and it isn't a linear experience so it shouldn't be judged as one. That's just ****ty, click-baiting journalism and nothing else.

But you can buy it or not, makes little difference to me.

Having watched some of the footage I do wonder how weak I'll be on release day, probably very. TBH, I do buy the length time in this case and awesome though it might be I doubt I'll want to replay again and again, few games elicit that will from me. I do think they've simply lobbed the prologue off Phantom Pain for the sake of profit however it is MGS and I guess I'll have no doubt paid the same or more for worse entries

Don't forget MGS2 Demo being bundled with ZoE. People bought that just to play around with that demo.

Getting to grips with new game mechanics and Kojima brilliance (fanboy) is a steal at ?25 if you ask me. Better than paying ?40 for the latest annual game update any day of the week.

Has there been much said about the differences between the versions on different generations of hardware? I hope they end up bringing the extra mission specific to sony (mgs1 snake) and microsoft (raiden) as dlc.

Finished GZ for the first time in about 90 minutes. Total game completion? 9%. I think that tells you all you need to know.

so you can rush through it but you would be doing yourself a disservice and probably missing a lot of the game out by the look of it.

Oh God, all this makes the XBO version sound like its going to be awful. Hope its just a lot of hearsay and its not much like how Tomb Raider turned out. I really am fed up of all this version talk.
