    That's real stealth.

Did you hang above the doorframe as he walked in, picked it up and walked out again?

No, but I should have, and now I feel like a fool for wasting the opportunity.
      Kept you waiting, huh?

You should go find a dark alleyway and hide up above peoples heads doing the splits. The ops thing about that move is you could probably play a 3DS at the same time

I'm going to try it out at my Dad's house tomorrow. If I turn off all the lights so that I can use my NVG's he might become suspicious though.

I wouldn't bother it's too hard to see the screen when you are looking through an infrared camera.

I totally agree. A lot of the play time in MGS3 consisted of lying prone under something and waiting for like 3 minutes for the alarm/searching phase to reset, only to be spotted again immediately by some unseen enemy and having to do it all over again. And that was Subsistance version with free camera, can't even think what it might have been to play through MGS3 with the top-down locked camera. *shudder*

Just make it so that you cannot use the slow-mo kill repeatedly and it's all for the better, makes you feel more like a bad ass commando anyway.

I'd say that I only used the slow mo kill mode in the recent splinter cell about 3 times.

                1) You have to have killed/knocked someone out for it to function anyway
                2) The enemies have to have been tagged prior to you using it
                3) They have to be in within a relatively short range for it to function

I only used it as a very last resort when I accidentally got spotted, it gives you a split second to stop things getting out of control. i.e. alarms, failing the mission.

As the game had various conditions for finishing, you always did best if you hadn't had to killed or taken out anyway, but it means if you are someone that prefers to shoot and gun everyone down it made you feel like a badass.

Vanilla Snake Eater was terrible because there was no radar and the jungle environment was more cluttered than the environments from 1 and 2. MGS was a lot about trial and error. I don't mind a panic button mechanic either. I didn't mind the listen mechanic from TLoU because some parts were frustrating without it.

From everything i have read about this games content seems to be in the same vein as Dead Rising case zero on the xbox 360, as in that's its a taster for a full price experience.

I cant believe its been sold at the price of a full price game for what is essentially an evenings worth of gaming, say i got home from work and put this on at 6 by 10 i would have seen everything this game has to offer if the four hour toted playtime is to be believed.

Will 3 hours of this playtime be taken up codec conversations or unskipable cut scenes??

Kojima was showing a companion app running on a tablet on his twitter feed earlier.

Where has the four hour number come from? Seen it a couple of times and didn't realise that was something that had been officially said.

I don't think it has, sites seem to imply anything between four and eight hours play.

It's not really full price Lebowski, is currently ?20 delivered at play-asia and was ?25 at Asda Direct last week (talking PS4 version).
Seen other versions on HUKDeals too so are some bargains to be had, and the used market will be flooded with copies within a couple of weeks of launch no doubt.

A few weeks after release you say cool

"You know, I used to be just like you. Now...I'm washin' lettuce. Soon I'll be on fries, then the grill. In a year or two, I'll be assitant manager...and that's when the big bucks start rollin' in."

I'm reckoning 4 hours actual game-play, 8 hours of story and character exposition via cut scenes, and two hours of codec conversation with enforced slow walking.
