You can just hit 'start software' and it'll download the update in the back.

How? On my GamePad screen I've got a progress bar saying "downloading data for update" and on my TV it says about what the system update does. Even putting a game in does nothing.

            I have no menu!!!!!

            AAAARRRRGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!

thanks to the people who helped anyway ... I doubt i would have managed to do whatever I did without you.

It's on your gamepad screen as the update screen appears.

                    This. Is. Laughable.

I've just worked out why you can't see it. Your downloading the firmware update right? Not the update for the game, right?

Only comes up on game updates, not firmware.

Has anyone else noticed on the back of the Gamepad a small screw like hole? Wonder what that could be used for?

To replace the battery I would imagine ...

Just running through the update now .. I could be going to be very late tonight! ... However setting up on wireless was no issue, and update is coming down fairly quick.

Regarding all this talk about the CPU and GPU speed, the only way that guy could of got the information is using Homebrew in Wii Mode. It may well be that the CPU and GPU get clocked at that speed in Wii mode to make it compatible.

I very much doubt you would be able to play a game like Mass Effect 3 on a 1.2Ghz processor, where the GPU is clocked at 500mhz.... Regardless of whether its a console or not.

I will take that with a pinch of salt until proven otherwise.
