I think J-WiiU owners are in the single digits on here. InvisibleKid and Nisa are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head.

You can get the stands directly from Nintendo.

The Basic doesn't come with a stand though, and you can't seem to buy them separately.

You can get them on Amazon for about ?12, but they're black rather than white. Honestly I can do without displaying my electronics in docks like I live in a Dixons though

It would better satisfy my completism to have everything in white. My 3DS is a white one too. Sony sh*t black, Nintendo sh*t white. That's what I'm going with.

I meant the console stand. The Wii U is a large unit, and I wasn't able to lay it horizontal. If I'd have bought the Basic, it'd have to go on the floor or something.

I have the classic Ikea Lack TV bench, which is nothing if not incredibly spacious. I'm actually thinking I'd keep my Wii U horizontal and flat underneath my old Wii (with the HDDs for each on top).

Not sure I feel I can retire my US launch softmodded Wii just yet, despite its knackered optical drive and slight graphical glitching. You Don't Know Jack and Trauma Team are making sure I play it most days. And I certainly wouldn't want to give up Fortune Street.

Almost 7 years and still in almost daily use...great system.

Are these Direst video's monthly things? If the new Mario game follows in the Marioland 3D on the 3DS it should be stellar.

Wonder why EA are back-tracking on the Wii U game front, pressure from Disney re Star Wars games?

It varies, tends to be a month at the max if there's not much to show. They've said it'll be before E3 rocks up so likely in the next fortnight
