When Mario Kart, Zelda, Mario 3D World, Bayonetta 2, Wii Fit U etc. etc. hit - it'll be a different thing.

I wouldn't really say that's true. However, there's always going to be other games that will catch your interest even if you have a "main reason".

We might buy a console for one game. The general public don't. On the whole.

Was going to comment on your original quote, then saw the correction As I pretty much got a 3DS for AC: New Leaf, same as I'm on the verge of purchasing a Wii-U for Pikmin 3. Can't stand having a backlog of games now, so a handful of quality titles is fine, although 'quality' is subjective I guess.

But like your opinion and the masses why does that matter to me? Just because the current software lineup isn't to everyone's taste does not mean that it cannot be to mine. I'm perfectly happy with my Wii U and the only thing that bothers me about Nintendo's sales being terrible is that future software might be affected. I was simply expressing reasons for buying a Wii U right now.

Mario Kart is literally the only chance the machine has left. That or a massive price cut.

I'm not sure Mario Kart is the only chance it has left. Wonderful, DK or Bayonetta might end up selling in buckets. Not having played any of them yet I wouldn't know.

How can something sell in buckets, if it doest have the user base. Thats the point.

No such game. Unless you mean MH Portable 3rd of which the HD version came out in August 2011 on PS3. I believe you're confusing MH Frontier G with other games. Yes, Frontier G is coming out on WiiU and PS3. A bit pointless if you ask me but it'll be free to play up to HR2 then you need to pay a subscription. I highly doubt this one will make it out of Japan.
