Why would you hope that? It'd hardly be worth it if I was!

I hope this drives console sales, as with the current install base this will do no where near the numbers it needs, or should, do.

              Ohhhh WANT!!!!

Only a few months ago I was broken-hearted to realise my Super Mario Galaxy Soundtrack was among the stuff I left in my old flat for the landlord to take to the tip/charity shop (he offered)

Also left my SSF4 Fightstick, a boxed/mint copy of Link to the Past and all my Christmas decorations/lights/tree

Blimey! That's some serious swag you left, poor you! Hope santa is kind this year to make amends for that.

Why did you leave all that stuff?

Urgh, I left moving to the last minute so took what I wanted for my new place and said to the landlord I'd come back to take a load of stuff I left to a charity shop the next day. He offered to do it to save me the journey. Only I'd forgot to clear a small loft space I'd put the Christmas decorations in, Super Mario Galaxy soundtrack was with them (along with a Tanooki Mario Plush actually) and the fightstick was bulky/not being used so I'd popped that up there a few months before I moved. Link to the Past I left because it was my only SNES game that didn't have a plastic slipcase/protector so I was going to take it separately to prevent it getting crushed, I put it on a windowsill then never picked it up on my way out. I didn't even realise either until 2 or 3 months after :/

Let that be a lesson to us all.

The multiplayer is meant to be immense.

Played best with thee other equally skilled Mario players. The winner of each stage gets to wear a glowing crown on the next. As it's competitive you're all fighting for coins, stars, first place, and who can reach the highest on the flag pole.

This is the kind of game I'd want around 13-14 years ago when practically every day I'd have at least three friends 'round my place for a gaming sesh. Playing online is crap in comparison to having an actual room full of people.

Ah well, seems like I'll be teaching my nieces how to play Mario over Christmas.

It's not. It's much better alone.

Depends on who you're mates with.

The thing about multiplayer platform games though is I find it my mates mess up my flow (lol) and I just don't enjoy it as much. The mayhem of NSMB Wii was really fun though.

Apparently IGN posted their review too early and had it removed. Anyway... 9.6.
