It's just using up excess panels. The casings and the triggers cost hardly anything to manufacture. The mobo will be cheaper too as it's one PCB.

hopefully its sturdily built as plenty of kids will be chucking these things about:-) But in all seriousness Nintendo know what they are doing when selling handhelds, after all look what they did with the DS design. If anything this is a return to more traditional design principles. Will sell well I reckon.

close the DS to take a handprint to solve a puzzle
or something? If so, it probably only recognises whether the console is in sleep mode or not, which this does allow you to do with a switch. Wouldn't be anywhere near as fun as actually doing it, but I think you could still complete the game, right?
EDIT: Nope, apparently that was Another Code: Two Memories. What did Hotel Dusk require?Last edited by danstan21; 28-08-2013, 19:28.

Wish Room required the closing of the DS. The sleep rocker will serve the same purpose, but seeing as actual 3DS titles will suffer because of the hardware, I doubt that functionality was even mentioned in brainstorming sessions.
Nintendo calling it budget at ?30 cheaper is a joke to the likes of us, but yummy mummies will agree with them no doubt. Especially once they run an advertisement with Beyonc? or Nicole Sherzubefger playing New Style Boutique with their mates.Last edited by J0e Musashi; 28-08-2013, 19:37.Kept you waiting, huh?
