Ryse is absolutly not my type of game, but the latest videos are really spectacular from a graphics point of view. I don't think many people can tell the difference from 900-1080p from a sofa, and this game shows clearly that the XB1 can provide stunning visuals at 900p/30fps. Like most next gens, can't wait to see how the devs push the hardware later on!

It's just a shame that it seems it's the same old Crytek story. Great graphics, non existent gameplay.

This is one of the launch games im actually really looking forward to playing for myself. Yes it may well be a button/QTE masher but its still something new, i really hope it turns out to be good at what it does if you get me.

Can't agree with that. The main Far Cry and Crysis games have great gameplay and score really highly. This sounds like a massive departure / misstep for Crytek.

Well i guess i wouldn’t exactly call it a new experience but its new IP isn’t it, i don’t recall any other games in the series? Plus at the end of the day i love the setting and it looks pretty decent from the video's I’ve watched. And for the moment at least its something exclusive to Xbone, alrighty it might not be everyone’s cup of tea but still.

I really do fancy having ago at this, not even so sure why. But will wait for a price drop that happens with all launch games a few months down the line.

Only Far Cry 1 is developed by Crytek.

I'm kinda surprised that a studio that has only made FPSs tried to make a 3rd-person action game in the first place.

If this sells more than TW101 I will officially murder some kittens.

I got a bag of kitten right here you may as well face those facts now. W101 was a flop.

W101 was never going to sell.

Oh I know personally, just a niche market game for an even bigger niche market.
Also it's on the Wii U, that never helps.
Maybe on 3ds sales would have soared.

Perhaps not soared but better. Pity.

This looks like the usually American-made drivel thats been done a million times before that puts graphics and violence over deep varied gameplay, it looks like a borefest :/ You'd have to pay me to play this for more than 20 mins.. 'Next-Gen'? More like 'Next-Please!'
