There's no IAP in battlefield 3, even though John Riccitiello would have loved to there to be ( remember his famous comment to shareholders ). DLC i can live with, but this just stinks and will ruin our hobby, anybody sticking up for pay to win is an absolute nut case. So EvilBoris are you defending this evil practice?

For pay to win yes, but it doesn't seem like this is that to me? It just seems to be pay to unlock. I'm not against that. If someone values their time more than their money, that's their prerogative and not for me to dictate. I just won't ever pay for it, personally.

Where are you seeing that? Every video I've seen of it said it was fast (around 13 seconds after initial setup etc).

Standby boot is around 15 seconds, cold boot is around 75.

I think if you are powering down at the wall you are losing more than just boot time: no background updates,downloads, kinect control.

I guess I'll be using it mostly with the instant on then... That's very misleading what MS have shown so far if that's the case, that vine that Major Nelson did with "Xbox On" that's not really showing what most people think it is (including myself).

I've still got more than a day Still waiting for it to be dispatched. I'm hoping it comes early as all of my other orders from DPD have came between 9-10am. This will be the exception of course though :/. Wish I'd pre-ordered in store, last time I'll order from shopto thinking I'll get it early...

I've grabbed both of those files, incase Xbox Live implodes from all of the countries hammering it for updates/ free games like forza/ fifa(for the UK at least) and Killer Instinct... hopefully TEH CLOWD will fare better than PSN did, let's see those 300,000 servers put to good use, Microsoft.

Finally its new console Eve, can finally say my new console will arrive tomorrow, at least it should be as long as DPD dont F**K up the delivery. I wonder when they will start sending out the txt message to book delivery time slots?

I deal with dpd a lot, and you normally get the text 2-3 hrs before unless it's the first slot as that can be a few mins before. I still not got any kind of tracking info from shopto this makes me sad!

I will be all kinds of mad tomorrow if it doesn't turn up.

I had my email last Friday from Shopto with the tracking number. But i have just had a check on the DPD website and still nothing showing for the tracking number, i wonder when details will start showing?

I wouldn't worry I have mine as well, but DPD won't collect them until tonight, so that's when your tracking will go live, I use them loads on shopto for games orders as well, so around 6pm they will be live if the past is anything to go by.
