Weird seeing both the spider things and the scorpions together though. They say it’s the PS1 version and Saturn mixed. I have a feeling that the level design is the PS1 version, at least from what I’ve played so far but I’d be interested to see a breakdown. How the bombs work will tell me a lot.
Gotta say, I'm sympathetic for the devs, launching the same day as the start of a huge sale.

Got to assume Nintendo don't give early enough info for this; Steam tells developers a really long time in advance of its sales.

Klonoa is coming to other formats too.

There's actually some tidy swag in that sale. X-Com 2 Collection 90% off, £4. Tempted to give it a get.

Visually the MK tracks do look different. I hope the particle effects of the remastered tracks and general liveliness are included in them. I get it as part of the online pass anyway, so its not a purchasing decision for me.

Im just floored that they didnt keep all of this for a sequel.

That aesthetic difference does lean things to this being handled by the Tours team

Its not a very appealing difference either. If it was 2D we would be calling it clipart.

Settled down with my new Switch OLED hooked up to the TV for some STG action this evening. With the joy cons on the little dog attachment I tried to get stuck in. But that controller is terrible. The direction buttons are a real step back from the d-pad on the Lite model. And the whole arrangement is a bit too small for my hands too. Looks like I’ll have to shell out on a Pro controller or third party effort. Any recommendations gang?

strongly advocate biting the bullet and getting the official pro. It's a very good quality controller

Don't mess around with the third-party efforts.

Just get a Pro Controller and be done with it.

IIRC that’s the controller I bought for my niece a while back when she was into Fortnite. Seemed pretty good. I’ll see if there are any offers floating around.

I don’t have a Pro - I haven’t even held one - but I’d still recommend it over the joycons!
