yeah that's the biggie innit. How would/quick could it cool itself? If anything, a nice bit of heat for those winter nights plus extra sweat for those sweaty palmed gamers.

I don't actually own a PC capable of gaming outside of the steam deck these days...Last edited by nonny; 06-04-2023, 14:22.

It's like doom eternal on the Steamdeck you can play it yes but its really not suited for the steamdeck it drains the battery in under an hour and just feels wrong when you've played this game on a big screen. My rule for handheld games is always the simpler the better theirs a reason why Tetris did so well on the gameboy it was the perfect game at the perfect time its like we peeked with handheld gaming back in the 80s
I've used remote play on an android tablet which is 7.9" in the past, using a switch style controller... and really it feels like the sweet spot.
So I think this Sony device has got the size right, but not the function.

I'm properly curious as to what is driving the demand. It's a cost of living market and a higher priced system that's had less out for it than prior PS's of note and almost has zero confirmed for it ahead of it either. The lack of effort Sony is required to make atm to achieve this level of sustained success of fascinating.
