Last Guardian interests me but I can't remember if it got any PS5 upgrades? I know you could play it frame unlocked using the disc version and not patching it but unsure if it then got updated officially?

I've got enough on my plate as it is though so I'm not in any rush.
That's a shame souls games are hard but super rewarding once you get into them. I'd completely forgotten about Sekiro shadows die twice too that game kicked my arse in places but i pushed though and was super glad i did as it was such a cool world to explore, i preferred the more fantasy setting to the more standard setting on show in Ghost of Tushima.

The Demons Souls remake is particularly gorgeous and runs at 60fps, if your a fan of these games its a must.

So interestingly I have been trying out the PS remote play the last few days so I can game upstairs on my lunch break.

The PC version of remote play using the official app is a tad annoying in that you have to use an official controller and it has to be wired via USB. Sure this gives the best experience in terms of latency and it works, but given you've got Bluetooth onboard it's a bit restricted.

Worse I thought I'd try the same setup on Android on my phone and that also requires you use a dual shock 4 or dual sense.

This annoyed me as I have a fantastic usb C switch type controller I use with Game Pass all the time. The GameSir X2.

So I did a bit of research and found a 3rd party app for Android called PSPlay and sure enough it works using any controller and the latency using the GameSir feels almost negligible over local network. The app is £5 and well worth it.

        I've now got a PS5 switch

the small HDD is getting to me now, going to have to force myself to finish the FF7remake dlc to free up 100gb and the main games i play are 'live service' keep getting a bigger with Apex is now 80gb, Dead by Daylight 60gb, Genshin 35gb, rest is filled with Souls(borne, 1HD and demon) games i dabble in time to time. No Man Sky coming in 13gb makes a mockery of these games.

There's been a tonne of deals on NVME drives hitting HotUKDeals this past week if you're wanting to add extra storage plus I dare say there'll be even better deals on black friday.

Sony has been air lifting PlayStation 5 consoles to the UK in jumbo jets in an effort to meet demand.

The PS5 sales are just nuts, its like were just leading up to the launch but were actually a year in almost with 13.5m sales already.

I actually think in a weird way, the unavailability of it is leading to more demand.

I think its just demand for a great product, they would of sold 20m by now if they could of made them.

I think the scarcity has just prolonged the usual launch hype. It's been extremely rare to see a PS5 or a Series X in the wild, it's almost like they don't exist and you're shocked when you actually catch sight of one... it's that general fervour, the lockdowns and of course f-ing scalpers.

Kudos for the bumper shipment anyway. That's great to see them going to extra lengths to make people happy at Xmas / hit their sales targets... joy to the world...

As part of a GeForce leak numerous supposed release dates have been outed. There are clear placeholders and dates can and will change but if correct it suggests that Horizon II: Forbidden West will launch on PC on 30 September 2022 and that Ghost of Tsushima will launch on 08 February 2022 on the system

Additionally, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart will launch on 03 October 2022, Returnal will launch on 30 April 2022 and Sackboy: A Big Adventure will release on 01 May 2022
