Nothing worse than playing the Uncharted games for the first time and then booting up Uncharted 4 and finding out its locked at 30fps...

Really enjoyed the trilogy collection but this one is jarring at 30fps. Why the hell hasn't Sony rolled out a performance patch for this like they have for other titles? It's been a year...

I believe Uncharted 4 is being remastered and resold (alongside a PC version)

Naughty Dog is set to release the remastered bundle of Uncharted 4: A Thief's End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy in 2022.

Yep uncharted 4 is being remastered, it has a locked frame rate on ps4, so would need work anyway. The trilogy collection on ps4 was a remaster in itself by BluePoint and they unlocked the frame rates, originals on ps3 were locked.

Damn that is annoying... I missed that entirely. I'm finding the 30fps blur almost puke inducing.

Am I right to assume Sony are going to ask for a £70 entry fee for the remaster?

Considering it’s Uncharted 4 and The Lost Legacy, it’s safe to say it will be £69.99

I can’t play games at 30 anymore either, no 60 no sale now days.

                  I can’t see it being £70.

Tell me about it. I tweaked the motion blur and camera sensitivity in the settings and it's a lot better but coming from the previous trilogy collection running at 60fps this is jarring, even if it does look like a whole generation leap graphically.

With the settings tweaked it's payable and I think I only paid £8 for it in the sales a while back. Still I would have skipped this if I'd known a remaster was coming.

At the start of this gen I was like 'yeah ill be fine with 30 for most things...'
Then I had a taste of 60 and can't go back. As nice as Fidelity modes are, I'll probably never use them now.

I've gotten used to this after a few hours so its funny how you readjust, same as going to 60fps. So it doesn't feel as terrible as it did initially but it still just feels super sluggish.

60fps all the way this gen, minimum.

I was ok with 30 on my old 1080p panel, really nice Sony panel with great colours and picture. The second I went to a 4k panel for my ps5 30 became vomit inducing.

It's weird isn't it, moving back to 30fps games gives me a headache now yet i played an entire gen of ps4 games at 30fps

Yep, I'm convinced its 30fps on 4k panels (in my case), as i have the ps4pro set up on the Sony 1080p upstairs for netlfix etc, still has a few games installed and they are not as jarringly vomit inducing as the same games on the new 4k panel. I have the samsung q80t for reference, 4k 60fps is like looking into another world sometimes the picture is so crisp, stick the same game on 30 and its all kinds of nope. Also for reference this is on both PS5 & SeriesX (even with vrr enabled on the SeriesX), i put ForzaH 5 on fidelity mode the other day just to see what it was like and all i could think was, please daddy make it stop .

Yeah I had the same experience on Forza Horizon 5. I've got a Sony 75" XH90 and 30fps in that game just looks like a mess compared to how sublime the performance is with 4K60 performance mode.

At least here with Uncharted 4 I can tone down the motion blur and make the camera pan a bit quicker. It still feels like everything is in slow motion though.

I was the exact same playing Control. I tried the ray tracing mode on that and it was horrific.
