Regarding P5S, it is not often that there's a game on PS+ that I both want to play and that I have not already bought. Great turn-up for the books! Hope it is not as long as P5, mind.

35 hours apparently, which is a relief!

Agreed, but it does say a lot when 35 can be considered brief!

First two are no brainers... I also like the look of Sifu but there isn't much else there for me. It will be good to see what PSVR2 is going to deliver though ...

Only PSVR 2 has my interest from that list.

Sony had a presentation at CES (which is where the VR2 news came from).
Nothing else major was said except that all 15 first party studios are working on games. Which is what I'd expect when you have a new console...

                Looking at you Xbox...

Xbox isn't bothered with VR, yet.... I can't tell whether this is the smart move or a foolish one to be honest. On console they seem happy to sit and wait.

Personally VR interests me but only if it's got a steady supply of actual games to make it worthwhile... so really, looking at you Sony. Show me why I need this.

I still think Xbox VR will never be a thing, they're still working to make up their console line up shortcomings and developing, launching, supporting etc their own VR arm would be a ton of effort for likely 2-4m units sold at the best. The returns would be nonexistent for them and the market place pretty much now has all the options it needs. Quest 2 has been the biggest success by far but even then its 10m units sold is as conservative as it is impressive and I still strongly suspect that they won't repeat the sales success with future hardware iterations. It would be nice though if MS's PC releases supported VR displays natively though.

VR really interests me and some of the games on PSVR were amazing, Astrobot etc, would love to go through HL Alyx as well, but, it makes me so unbelievably motion sick the 30 mins of fun just isn’t worth the afternoon recovering 🤮

Damn, the support for PSVR was ridiculously good. I reckon the support will keep going and looking at the specs, should bring more eyes to the table. Once you play Astrobot VR you are brought to your knees in amazement.

I tend to find I don't get sick from VR but after about an hour it gets pretty heavy on the eyes and I feel done. Given the headset is wired it'll be interesting to see how heavily it leans to seated experiences or standing

I stood up loads swinging a golf club with the first one. It could do both fine.

To be honest I was being obtuse about Xbox game studios. Sony has said all their studios are working on new games, but I cant say I have the same sense from Xbox. They probably are, but it just doesn't feel like they are.

As for PSVR2, I agree. I don't just want experiences, I want full AAA games that can be played flat OR in VR.
