Because I'm still in the mode of stumbling across little new experiences with the Series X:

I tried FH5 via XCloud on the console and it booted up in a very seemless way. To play though... definitely no risk of hardware going anytime soon. It was impressive in terms of how far we've come but it was a very compromised way of playing the game. Took me very little time to exit out and just reinstall it instead

Yeah its in beta and caps out at 1080p60. It works better for some games than others as well.

On console I see it as useful just to quickly play some slower paced games and that's about it. That might change if MS allow you to tweak bandwidth/bitrate settings

Yep, I tried looking to see if there was anything option wise to improve it but found nothing. Would have been a nice alternative to having to install when the drive is filling up

It's my main complaint in the cloud beta. On a phone or tablet it's not as bad just simply because of the smaller screen size but on TV, I'd love to bump up the bitrate more than anything. I'm sure it'll come in time because MS is also going to let you do this on android TV or with a TV stick... but right now it's just a beta and they're taking feedback

The Xbox Series systems are selling well, they are even outselling Xbox 360 day in day sales which was a huge success at the time. The Switch continues to break records and the PlayStation 5 is continuing to match or even beat PS4. Everything is selling, the game’s industry is in such a healthy state right now.

Rumour that an announcement of a delay for Stalker 2 of upto 6 months is inbound

Yeah that sounds about right considering how quiet they've been about it.

Yeah that wouldn't surprise me either though you then wonder what's going on because a month ago they were spouting about NFTs and crap. They're obviously a fairly small team but surely you'd only be focusing on that sortof crap if everything else was on schedule.

Until there's official confirmation I'm hopeful but then the silence is deafening at this point.

As for Phil Spencer's comments about this generation outselling previous Xbox generations in the first year. That would mean the Series consoles have sold at least 12 million which is impressive.

Every console is doing record numbers at this point.

They said they wouldn't and backtracked but really it's not even worth joking about because it seems every day someone is trying monetise through NFTs...

Shame if it does get delayed. Its going to leave a bit of a gap in the middle of the year. If it lands in the autumn it'll probably find itself up against some of the Xmas tent pole games and struggle a bit.
