I'd read that they were trying to relaunch this, I really don't understand why.

It's been given an engine upgrade, but still looks as flat and dull as the original, considering the wealth of characters they have access too thats pretty criminal.

it's a fight for the bottom between the Two Big Budget first quarter live service games, you kind of love to see that gamers as a whole are steering well clear of these life sucking grind em ups.

Yatzee did a brilliant take on this where he shows you just go about bumping into stuff with your ship to interact with it. when you win ship battles you don't get to raid it and do pirate fights it just vanishes, and you get all their loot. It's very strange when you think that ubisoft had the template for this game in AC black flag, players thought they were getting a multiplayer version of that with less stealth and with more pirating.

Arika and SNK reviving old IP sounds promising. A lot of good stuff to pick from there.

Very tempted to pick up Grandia HD. The Saturn version with the English language patch is great. A bit of modern polish will hopefully let more people enjoy this gem.

Not to be a party pooper, but at least with the previous Switch version of Grandia HD, I know I did read impressions on Reddit that the visuals on Grandia 1 were not great. There is a blurry filter on the sprites, for one thing. It's also based on the PS1 version so has the visual defects that this version always featured.

I had a look at it myself, as I'm planning to re-play Grandia at some point (I haven't done so since it was contemporary and I played it on PAL PS1), and decided that the fan translated Saturn version sounds like it's still the definitive one if you're able to play it.

10,000 people tried to play Star Wars battlefield classic collection at the same time on steam,not massive numbers you say well the game launched with support for 3 servers allowing a grand total of 192 players online.

You can't make it up, similar issues with the console versions too, I'd give it a wide birth, i wonder how they thought this would go, it currently has mostly negative scores and most people have more than likely refunded the game talk about a disaster of a launch.
