Ooh nice find Kryss that one looks amazing, the graphical style is so nice. It's like they took the graphical style from the fireman series of games and levelled it up a bit.

Reviews seemed a bit negative though sadly.

Supposedly Metroid Prime 2 Remastered is inbound soon. It won't be as polished as Prime 1 was though

            That's news to me.

I certainly wouldn't be taking a YouTube channel as gospel on that. Weren't Nintendo adamant that Echoes and Corruption wouldn't be getting Switch remasters? It wouldn't be a surprise if the positive reception of Prime Remastered is forcing them to reconsider.

That said, remastering the rest of the Prime Trilogy for Switch is utterly pointless if they're just going to revert to type and phone it in.

He's been on the money in the past he's also been wildly wrong too, His sources get stuff right some times and they get stuff wrong too. more Prime and more Zelda coming later this year sounds boringly plausible. The Zelda stuff is not related to Tears of the kingdom and will no doubt be more remasters for the switch or a teaser trailer for a Zelda movie.

I wonder if we will finally see Windwaker hit switch with a £40 price tag, it would be a very simple port no doubt as they have done the work making it HD, or if we are gonna get remasters of Ocarina and Majoras mask in a similar style to the prime remaster.

Personally, I think the chances of Wind Waker and Twilight Princess appearing on Switch look pretty good, given that the recent Nintendo Direct showed that Nintendo are clearly going to ride out the end of the Switch with ports/remakes/remasters - relatively easy and cheap to make for an easy win.

Whether Nintendo will make a genuine effort with them is another matter entirely.

A Zelda classic collection with all the games up to N64 ones would be cheap and jump on the never getting old trend for retro collections, slap all the Nes, Super Nes, N64 and game-boy games on a kart with a pamphlet of an art-book, a collectors coin a key ring and a luggage tag, charge £80 quid for it make it a limited release like the Mario collection one sell 9.01 million units worldwide.

They already have a Collector's edition on GC with the 2 NES games and 2 N64 games. However all of these games are playable on Switch right now through the online + exp pass so not sure I think it's all that likely. Only SM64 was playable on the Switch from the SM3D and it was added 2 years after the collection.

Not sure if I believe WW/TP remasters will come to the Switch either tbh as they had some great opportunities to do it already like when TotK was delayed. I do hope I'm wrong and that they will release them as it's a real shame for them to be stuck on one of Nintendo's lowest selling consoles.

That certainly won't be happening any time ever. Throw that in the bin alongside the "Zelda Maker" that so many desperately wanted when Super Mario Maker first dropped on WiiU.

I doubt Nintendo will be making anymore AAA in-house titles for Switch (no, I don't consider Pikmin 4 and SMB Wonder to be AAA). Remasters/remakes/ports look like the best they'll be doing for first-party software between now and the new hardware, so in that context porting WW and TP makes plenty of sense. I can easily see it happening sometime next year.

If it happens I'd expect Twilight Princess of the two, it's a bit of an easier sell to me than WW if they hope to piggyback sales off the back of BOTW and TOTK fans visuals wise with the other held back to Switch 2. Even then I'd expect TP no sooner than Summer 2024, it's too close to TOTK's release this year.

The prospect of all Zelda games being on one platform is an easy win for Nintendo. Unless TOTK has DLC coming then I don't see any problems with both HD ports of TP and WW dropping next year.
