I find that the gaming audience at large gets really obsessed with framerates these days - probably because we generally have it so good in terms of graphics and performance that now everyone is hyperfocusing on optimisations. Unless they're really bad it doesn't bother me that much. The game is killer, which is the main thing. The art direction was genius!
I'd imagine that the complaints about it were largely out of surprise - Nintendo prioritise rock-solid fps in their games for the most part. Historically, it's been resolution where they've struggled more (and even that hasn't really been a problem since they went HD for game development), so I do think that can be improved upon if they use that art style again for a remake of the Oracle games and they should be looking to improve that if we're honest.Last edited by Nu-Eclipse; 25-01-2024, 12:20.
