Pretty terrible numbers and not that surprising really given them going against the now established F2P model.

Can see them switching to F2P really soon as clearly it's DOA. Seems Sony may have spent quite a lot of money on this as well given the mo-cap and it having it's own episode in that new Secret Level Amazon series.

Really they need to try and save it now as it's clearly a pretty decent title. Ditch the $40 entry fee, charge for characters and skins ... Hopefully get more players to at least try it.

Probably didn't help releasing it in-between Black Myth Wukong and Astrobot either...!

Specs shared, the sounds make it sound like a 2025 launch but chatter remains 2024.

I think this Xmas is more plausible personally considering the information about manufacturing being underway.

Gaming is much less Christmas-orientated than it was in years past though so the early part of next year is possible too.

Now we just have to see if they'll pivot or leave it to die Redfall style...

I dunno, the next few weeks will be telling. They've paid up for Concord to have it's own episode in Secret Level on Amazon which is due out in December.

If they pull the rug now and it's dead by then that is going to be very weird. They might just have to suck it up and try to turn it around in the short term.

I'm getting a good chuckle at the 250 player average for conord this last week, it's peak concurrent players of around 600 (on launch day) never reached the heights of such greats as Battleborn(12k), Radical Heights(12k), and Redfall (6k).
