30 years, gone so fast and very Sony to under-celebrate it. At this point, especially given the lack of info in the run up to release on the software front, I 100% expect that PS5 Pro will be one of the least compelling hardware launches Sony has ever had yet still sell strong, because this gen they seem to have really mastered the art of selling fairly pointless hardware with the PS logo printed on it.

I loved my PocketStation. Pointless, but daring and cute. This was the Sony I loved.

I'm glad Astro Bot is on point. The play room stuff was really charming and tapped into the nostalgia element really well.

Really hope it's commercially successful as well given we know stuff like Ratchet & Clank didn't sell huge numbers overall.

With any luck it'll shift decent numbers on console and Sony will have the smarts to fast track it to PC and maybe Switch 2 while the market is ripe for it.

It's the nostalgia element of Astro that's making me think twice about buying it. I have no nostalgia for PlayStation and it's associated characters so this element will be lost on me. PSVR Astro was an utter gem though and the Playroom was decent too but even that was leaning on the brand a bit too much for my liking.
Hopefully it's just window dressing and not that integral to the experience.

Can't comment on that as I haven't played it but from the general reviews it sounds like it's a 6-7hr game and each mechanic it introduces isn't over used... So not like it will get stale.
