I don't see why they would, it's a game that was outsold by Day's Gone. The crux of going to the expense of remaking it is that the audience is far too niche, Demon's Souls showed how From's ability to get wide audience attraction to their games is as much dependent on being multiformat as it is driving the format forward. Given the years of severe discounting and free handouts Bloodborne has had it would never get the sales Sony demands these days to justify its budget. A low cost remaster next gen is more likely but even then I wouldn't expect it to be a priority unless someone at Sony wants it on PC.

Bloodborne outsold Demon's Souls by a massive margin yet they made a remake of Demon's Souls, and ONLY FOR PLAYSTATION so every one of your reasons for them to not to make it is null and void!

the 30th anniversary Portal Popped back up for sale last Thursday for about ten minutes and the impulse purchase took over yeah i’ve got. a steam deck i don’t need one but i wanted one.

so comparisons, it works perfectly our the box i tried some quick reaction stuff like the harder shape levels on Astrobot and they worked perfectly and felt really responsive. i tried a bit of street-fighter 30th too and had no issues in arcade mode beating opponents blocking and pulling of special moves.

i did get a small bit of screen breakup when i went to the store and started downloading games but this went away as soon as i stopped hammering the ps5s downloads. I’m not seeing the micropause issue that this thing had at launch so i’m guessing that’s fixed. i played about 30 minutes of doom eternal via the cloud streaming beta and that worked well too.

overall its a lot less faffy than the steam deck and with my Net set up (mesh wifi) it works really well was up and running in minutes no youtube tutorials or fiddling to optimise the connection it just worked. For the deck i’ve had to set up my standard wifi again and use that outside the mesh network to get a stable connection so it’s worth bearing in mind if your having to use a mesh system to push wifi around your house.

Bloodborne Remastered might be looking more likely after all as Sony ploughs through the list of PS4 games to tinker with it seems

I could pick up Avatar or Star Wars Outlaws but I can't find any recent vid where either are that recommended. Looking in the PS Store sale the next title on eye would be GT7. I bounced off it back when because it frlt like such a chore of a grind to simply go through, have patches fixed thaglt or is it still the same?

sounds like you need My first Gran turismo which is a free version of the game that eases you into the series.

Avatar is confirmed to have a Pro fix inbound, nothing for Outlaws yet.

I really tried with GT7, it’s got to be the most unfun game I’ve played in years, gameplay is good but the game structure is just designed to hamper you at every turn. It does look absolutely spectacular though on the Pro, full RT at 60fps & 4k, it’s a technical showcase that’s for sure.

My First GT is a good idea, I'll give that a punt and see if my interest levels bounce off it. Sods law that as soon as I can get something the well runs dry Natures way of telling me to crack on with the backlog
