The MP3 can be found here. Tweaker let it loose on the internet on their web site a week or so ago.

Personally it rocks my world and I love it

I think that the effects of piracy are always overstated when it comes to the effect on sales of really big games or really big bands. Fans of the genre/band will always buy the original even if they download the warez version in advance. And with a big brand like Doom, they tend to sell over a period of years as well as the initial rush when it is first released. Word of mouth, reviews, add-ons etc all help. And with Doom the Xbox version is sure to do well.

I'll admit it, I've started to download it from my news server. Impatient? Probably, but I've got some time to kill in the next few days with work, so that's my excuse! And when Amazon ships it, I'll reinstall it so I can get online.

Forgot to say that I'm not going to share it on p2p. I'm downloading from a newsgroup for my own personal use and it'll be deleted when the original shows up.

If only I had a 1Mb connection!

I would rather wait too. I would feel guilty somewhat downloading it, plus I get more excited when I have the packaging and I open it and play Doom 3 for the first time

also I think eurogamer have missed the point, the game hasn't leaked. Its on the net because some retailers broke the release date. ID and Activision couldn't have done any better in the US, but to have a near 10 day lag to the UK version is unforgivable.

This happens to every game, its just getting all the press because its such a big game.

Exactly, although ID said that the game might be released early away, they didn't seem that concerned about it.
