      Yeah, that would work.

There are a few programs that let you take your music off your iPod. I've heard good things about SharePod too (which is a small freeware program I think).

My advice would be to check out www.ipodlounge.com and have a look in their forums for a thread about getting stuff off your iPod back onto your PC. The site is great overall tbh.

Grrr. It's going to take ages to get all I had. Thanks anyway chief.

I consolidated my lIpod library. When I put music in that folder, should I tunes automatically update itself?

Thank you very much apple customer services

Phoned them up 1 day before my warranty expired. "My iPod is broken, PLEASE HELP ME." The bloke on the phone replied that I needed to fill out the 'fix my iPod' form on the internet and that can take a little while. So to give me more time, he extended my warranty for another week.

3 days after I placed the request I got the box to send off my iPod and now I have to arrange UPS to pick it up.

Brilliant, there is nothing that I can complain about there. It seems fast efficient and caring so far.

                Thanks a million

80 GB iPod has been announced or kind of anyway as Toshiba are now producing a 2 plattered 80 GB hard drive for portable devices eg iPod. Theyv also made the 40GB HD smaller and on to one platter which means that next iterations of the 40GB will have a much better battery due to it only having to get the info from one platter instead of two.

Right, check, check one, two, one two, check me out.

I've got a second Ipod. That I want to put 10 songs on from my Itunes.

I don't want every song on my Itunes to be put on, JUST a certain 10. The Ipod is a present for someone else. So how am i going to get these songs on?

Even if you do get those 10 songs onto the ipod using iTunes will the iPod be locked to use only on your computer?

Quick question. I have used Ipod since Feb this year, almost every day, chargiing it up on average 3 times a week. The battery seems to last exactly the same as it did when I first got it. Were those scare stories about the battery running out after X amount of time true? Anyone had for for longer who has used it continuously?

                              cheers

After a year, my battery was still good. Some 7 hours or so from a charge. I'd just quick charge it every now and again- 80% battery power in an hour. Can't argue with that.

Some people have had problems, although I'm not aware of how extensive it is. It's certainly hasn't spread to me though
