Nice, thanks. I'm going to give that a try over the weekend for the PSP - haven't bothered with anything like that before.

I have synced mine via iTunes since and all is still functioning A-OK. That's not to say they won't scupper it next firmware, but its not as bad as with iPhones as worst case scenario is that you'll end up going back to a regular iPod.
Nothing to lose...

Chris - does this invalidate the warranty?
If it goes funny buggers can you do a hard reset and will it reomve all the goodies if it needs to be sent back to Apple?

No idea regarding warranty. Quite probably! My experience of hardware is that it always fails 3 days out of warranty anyway!
You can do a reset within iTunes to remove everything, but I don't know if you can do a hard reset using the device itself? I know there's certain keypresses on other iPods but not sure what you'd do with a Touch?

I did mine via iJailbreak.com (Mac only) and that was pretty simple, just a case of having to turn off and on your iPod when prompted.

Just recently aquired a 3rd Gen UK iPod Nano 4GB to replace my 2nd Gen HK iPod Nano 4GB as I wanted to watch videos.
I had my 2nd Gen HK iPod Nano 4GB for 8 months and I didn't scratch it once - I have my 3rd Gen UK iPod Nano 4GB for 1 day and I've already got light scratches at the back despite me looking after this carefully.
This has pissed me off so much!
And you know, come middle of next year there will (more than likely) be an all new iPod Nano with full metalic case like the 2nd Gen iPod Nano's!!!
Anyway, another serious problem!
My newly bought 3rd Gen UK iPod Nano 4GB is way quieter than my previous 2nd Gen HK iPod Nano 4GB...
Anyone know if I can make this louder?
I did this previously with my old iPod Mini...
Thanks to all replies in advance!
