The Toshiba TV I just got is 42" 1920x1080 resolution. Price was about ?1350.

I was just browsing LCDs this lunchtime for something 32" and the one with the clearest looking picture seemed to me to be one by LG, the 32LC2R. Does anyone have any experience with it, or no something better in the price range? The store I saw it in had it going for 990EUR/?665 which was quite a bit cheaper than the likes of the Sonys and as I say it seemed to have the best image (or at least be set up better than the rest).

edit: (oh, and I see it online for up to ?100 less too).

If you have a LG one it will be a good buy. But you need to see it in action with your consoles as they have a very good demo clip which show it off and make it stand out.

After reading some reviews and impressions earlier in this topic, I've fallen for the Sony 32V2000. Now I just need to start saving some money...

For less than ?700 would I be able to get a decent 32" HDTV capable of 420p, 720p and 1080i and have hdmi and vga inputs? (As well as component)

Do the research, and carry on saving for another month and another 200 pounds will help to make easier choice.

1080i input, but that is converted to a proper 1080p image when viewing 24/25/30fps content. I've tried it at 1080 with Telewest HD and on my Xbox 1, and I couldn't see *any* de-interlacing artefacts at all, but then the Xbox 1 struggled to run anything at 60fps at that res and TV stuff is obviously always going to convert to a flawless 1080p.

I can't think what I'll ever have which would run 60fps at 1080i that could trip up the TV's de-interlacing circuitry. Perhaps in 5 years when I eventually pick up a PS3 and a copy of GT HD from the bargain bin.
