Any links? I know that looking in shops on the high street is just bound for me to get ripped off.

One of my friends is getting thishttp://configure.euro.dell.com/dell...s&sbc=lcd_w1900, what do ye think of that?

I remember reading somewhere that anything less than 26" cant have a HD-Ready stamp.

Nah, there's no mention of such thing in the HD-Ready certification documents.

I think the Samsung 23" has a HDCP-compliant DVI, not HDMI. Should still be fine as you can use a converter foe the most part, but bear it in mind.

              2 x SCART ( 21 PIN SCART ) ? 1 x component video input ? 1 x composite video input ( RCA phono ) ? 1 x S-Video input ( 4 PIN mini-DIN ) ? 1 x VGA input ( 15 PIN HD D-Sub (HD-15) ) ? 1 x audio line-in ( mini-phone stereo 3.5 mm ) ? 1 x audio line-out ? 1 x headphones ( mini-phone stereo 3.5 mm )
No mention of DVI only VGA

Yeah, and mine is the opposite, DVI but no VGA. Easily get a converter cable though, which I am using just now, which I got with the TV, so I think the 23" Sammy is fine.

Just played HL2 there for a bit. Beautiful!

After reading all the good advice on this page I ordered this TV yesterday : Toshiba 37WLT58

On one of the sites osmeone provided it was around ?1500 after delivery charges (whereas on comet site and in shop its prices at ?2000)

However I did really want to use the TV with my PC as well as dvd/consoles etc. Im having funny feelings that I jumped at this TV and dont think it will work with my PC?

                  Could anyone please answer that?

                  Thanks

Not for that price. There are very few TVs that do, for any price.

(not that I've checked but I think it's unlikely)

I went to John Lewis today and bought the Toshiba 32WLT58, got them to price match Crampton and Moore for ?1125, plus being John Lewis you get a free 5 Year Warranty and delivery.

Now I face an agonising 6 day wait until it arrives!!

It's odd, Xbox Live precipitated my acquistion of broadband 3 years ago, and now Xbox360 has caused my massive interest in acquiring a HDTV. Is Xbox360 a HD killer app?

I think everyone on this board that has bought an HDTV in the las 6 months has bought one because the 360 is coming out
