Is it possible to have sound coming out for whats in the PiP display!?

I have my PC on the tv now and the football in the corner but want to hear the football and not the tv. How do you do it?

Rossco has convinced me that the LG is the one to go for. Out of all the 26" lcd's I have looked at it is definitely the best with only the JVC DIST version competing and that costs ?850.

The shot's look excellent, from the movies to MarioWorld it impresses.

Then I have to decide which 37" I am going to buy. I have my eye on the JVC, but there is also a top-end Phillips that I am interested in. Maybe I should wait until the spring though- splashing out ?1800 is risky business!

i'm going from a completely different tv here... if to add another PIP you just select PIP then choose another source/channel, try putting the footy on first then selecting another source...

failing that there may be a button to press which'll switch round the piccys.

like i said, this works on another tv but may possibly apply. good luck!

I saw a 60" LG Plasma in dixons output sound from the Pip Screen, so yours might have an option somewhere.

You can kind of do it but I still cant work it out the way I want, I want the PC full screen, with TV in corner, with sound coming from that. You can make it split screen 50/50 and then make either one bigger or smaller, but then the resolution for the PC is all messed up and doesnt look right.

Hmmmmmm...

Yeah I've found the same, can't the PC resolution to keep the aspect ratio correctly in PiP. You can normally select the sound with the up\down\left\right controls on the remote, though I haven't tried this yet.

How do you put the backlight on fully? When you Auto Setup the picture, it flickers on really bright for a second, and its sooo much nicer than the normal level. Is it in the service menu? I couldnt see anything forit...

I have one of these bad boys. I can recommend.

Bit more expensive than the Dell and not wide-aspect but it's 1600x1200 as opposed to 1680x1050 so more screen real estate.

There are a few panel options in the service menu, not tried them myself though.

Damn, i cant get the service menu back again!!

I know you need to hold menu on the tv and the control but whats the timing for it cause i think I just lucked out the 3 or 4 times I managed it before!!!

You know what I mean though about the backlight yeh? Go to screen menu, then Auto Config and press right to set it and y ou'll see it go alot brighter!
