I've found a few games that look absolutly grim through 480p on the gamecube, it makes you wonder if nintendo intend/ design them to work in interlaced for the best picture

The 26inch will do the trick for now though.

Help me! I am very tempted to buy an lcd screen but I can't decide between the 26inch samsung and the 27 inch toshiba. I can't find anywhere thats reviewed both models. I'm swinging towards the tosh due to its good reviews and the fact that everyone seems to be buying the samsung (like to be different!).
Or should I make that 32 inch?

i recieved the la26r51b today and it is AMAZING!!! Games are crisp, movies are fab, but the original settings are rubbish! i had to tinker with them! I have some q's.
The TV looks blurry when viewed close up. And on Finding Nemo when close up, looks pixelated. Is this normal?
And I have been running my Cube through Prog Scan. There has been no tearing. Is this when i should see it if it has this problem?
Thanks!
Oh, and the 26 inch in perfect, but i guess it depends on your room size. Any bigger and in my room would look crap. The Samsung is fab!

and you won't see any tearing on the gamecube, the tearing only occurs in the HD format of 720p, so xbox 360 may show it. But its easy enough to get fixed

Its HD ready for Sky HD, has all the standard analogue inputs aswell as digital inputs, it even has a motorized base so you can angle it at the sofa you are sitting on with the remoteLast edited by EvilBoris; 06-10-2005, 14:19.

thanks evil borris!
I know i am not meant to watch them that close but just wanted to make sure they are normal!
And thanks about the tearing issue! I hope it does not have any problems! Also, i know people have said that taking other peoples set ups are good, but anyone with this tv, what is yours set up to? Brightness contrast etc? I used the THX optimizer, but i can't use the colour one as i dont have the glasses!
Thanks!
