Anyone got any recommendations for a HD-TV ranging from 19 inch to 24 inch? Cheaper the better, but Build quailty is important too.

Nice setup
If you have Finding Nemo on DVD I recommend giving it a go, the colours are so vivid on this screen, more so than even the Philips which is twice the cost. It's not perfect though - I notice some ghosting (I belive) when there is a dark background with bright characters in the foreground. It's like a halo-effect around them - particularly on the shark bit near the start.
Possibly related to the fact I'm running it through Power DVD, though. Still - it looks far better than I've ever seen the film before - even in the cinema.
I've got it setup at the moment as a second screen on the PC - I keep losing the mouse

Wowwww Incredibles looks... well Incredible!!!
Put on Kill Bill just there too to compare it with my mates Samsung, we both played it on our Xboxes but I done mine through official component cables and at 720p. He done it at standard res using cheapo cables and his looked quite crap, where as this looks perfect! Really really sharp, so smooth. And best of all, I can see not one bit of blurring or ghosting at all on this TV!!!
Just watched a downloaded episode of Lost there too, at 608 x 336, Xbox upscales it brilliantly, it really does look great!!
ANDD, normal analogue TV looks quite good too. I expected it to be rubbish, but its just the same, if not a bit better actually than before!
Here's some pictures, taken at medium quality on my phone, any bigger and the quality starts to deteriorate. Looks well good though!
So happy with it.
I'll go do some SNES games on my Xbox to see what they look like, I dont have any retro consoles to actually see what they look like normally, but its better than nothing I guess...

It looks crap through RGB.
Have official component cables for all three consoles and they are all bitching!
Quickly put on FIFA 05 and it was rather good, expected worse but it excelled well, a bit soft around the edges of some text and the player are quite jaggy but nothing too serious. Bloody annoying to set up component on PS2, you have to plug in via Scart first then change to component options then plug the cables in!?
Then put RE4 on the Cube and after hearing everyone say its crap, I was pleasantly surprised. It looks most excellent, Playing it letterboxed obviously. Otherwise it doesn't look right. So I'm glad that RE4 survived, means I dont need to go buy the PS2 version to play it decently now!I did think the Cube had options to change to component for better picture though? Not in the options though when you start without a disc. Oh well..
Pictures as usual!!Last edited by Rossco; 02-03-2007, 14:44.
