will give you the component to VGA.

Note - this is only for TVs that can run component mode on their VGA port, such as Panny, Toshiba etc. It DOES NOT convert VGA to component.

The cables that I have are Van Damme VGA cables which I can give you link for but it will set you back over 150quid!

    Neil.

Does anyone have the Panasonic TX32LXD52? It looks gorgeous, gets a good writeup online and has the HD Ready logo. Yet the specs list on Panasonic's website singularly fails to mention DVI or HDMI inputs. Is this just a documentation problem?

Also, if anyone could help me decide between it, a Samsung LE32R51BD or one of the new Sony Bravias that would be great.

Except the V Series doesn't have VGA, so you'll be connecting it in some other way.

Head on over to the AVforums.
In the LCD section there are a few threads on how to get JL pricematches.

I got them to price match the Sheffield store Crampton and Moore (who also have a website), and it was no problem whatsoever. Just took 10 mins while he phoned them up to check, and delivery was arranged within 7 days. Saved myself ?200 on the Toshiba 32WLT58.

I came on here, because i've still got this nasty vertical band problem when i run VGA content through my LCD. Altering the sampling clock helped but didn't alliviate it. Since i'm now using the Dreamcast VGA box, not the X2VGA+, unless its the TV itself (which i'm praying is not the case), it must be the VGA lead that i bought. It was only a fiver, is it possible that its getting interference, or is just plain shoddy quality?

What VGA (just plain VGA - VGA) cables have other people got? Has anyone else had this problem?

My Samsung has already got a dead pixel on. I only received it today. A red one near the bottom.

              ****.

Sucks but isn't it just a 'feature' ( :P ) that you'll get some dead /lit pixels with LCDs? That's what I thought anyway

I have a dead / lit? pixel on my TFT, red one, I can ignore it

I think it would annoy me on a new tv, i got lucky with PSP, mine is perfick

It's to the lower centre, and is only visable on white backgrounds, but considering I'm using this screen on the PC, as soon as I opened notepad and browsed the forums I noticed it.

It's only one and I really don't fancy sending it all the way back to Play and waiting for a replacement. Looks like I'll have to live with it.

is it dead or stuck? you may be able to unstick it using the psp pixel fixer or whatever it was called

I don't know... it's just stuck red. I think it was when I tried out Half-Life 2 earlier and you're getting shot at on the roof-tops and the screen goes red. It probably became stuck (or dead) then.

It's liveable. I'll try and download the PSP fixer later and see if it'll run on larger LCDs.

                        Quick question please guys,

If you had to choose between these three TV's which would you get?

Anything other than black is a stuck pixel and can possibly be fixed. I made a vey basic full-screen PC application to help check for them and to blast the screen with random colours. I can email it to you if you like.

Don't think the Tosh one has Component.

What's the diff between the other two then? I can't see any?
